Circuit Shows have filled Messukeskus to the brim

Today, Messukeskus in Helsinki is filled with an unusually large number of combed coats and wagging tails, as more than 8,100 dogs participate in the special shows for different breeds held in connection with the World Dog Show 2025. Special shows arranged in connection with WDS 2025 are called Circuit Shows.

During the day, as many as 65 separate special shows organized by breed associations will be held at Messukeskus, with a total of 283 different dog breeds participating. Such a large one-time cluster of special shows has ever before been organized in Finland, and probably not even in the world.

Most participants in Labrador retrievers

Specialty shows are either for one dog breed or for several breeds belonging to the same breed group. They provide an opportunity to assess the quality and development of the dog breed more broadly.

The largest number of participants in today’s specialty shows are Labrador Retrievers (124 dogs), Tibetan Spaniels (110 dogs) and Whippets (108 dogs).

Each of the day’s special shows culminates in the award of the best male and female of their breed. In addition, the best puppies, juniors and veterans of each breed will also be awarded.

The results of the Circuit Shows will be updated on this page.

The weekend continues with the World Dog Show 2025

The super weekend of the dog show world continues at Messukeskus, as the actual World Dog Show 2025 show begins tomorrow. During the three-day event, more than 15,700 dogs from all over the world will be seen under the same roof.
